Executive Reports is in Preview. The feature works today; expect refinement as it evolves toward general availability. To turn it on for your organization, contact your customer success manager or open a support case.

What it is

Executive Reports is the VM chapter of your board deck. It answers one question for the board and the CISO: is the vulnerability management program improving, and what is the ROI?

Use it to replace the quarterly scramble of hunting through dashboards, pasting numbers into slides, and writing narrative. The report renders against your live data; you export the slides you need into your existing board template.

What it isn't

A replacement for identity, AppSec, incident, or SOC reporting. The scope is vulnerability management: the program's trajectory, debt, velocity, and ROI.

What's in a report

Every report opens with a cover titled {Quarter} Security Posture (for example, Q2 2026 Security Posture), then five always-on content slides driven by your live data, plus one Regulation slide per compliance framework you select in the wizard.

The five always-on slides:

Cumulative Remediations. Historical totals: how much has been done.
Fix Velocity. How fast vulnerabilities are being resolved.
Controls Assessment. CIS Critical Security Controls v8 maturity: where the organization meets target and where gaps remain.
Executive Scorecard. Risk posture by business unit: SLA compliance across divisions.
Transformation. {Org name}'s Transformation (for example, Lunalectric's Transformation). Your headline outcome for the reporting window.

A Regulation slide is added for each framework you select in step 3 of the wizard (CIS v8, SOC 2, PCI DSS 4.0, NIS2, and others). The wizard's Overall goal % for each framework sets the target line on its slide.

Export

Each slide exports separately from the viewer:

Copy PNG. Copy one slide as an image to your clipboard for Slack, email, or Notion.
PPT. Download one slide as a single-slide .pptx to embed in an existing deck.

Availability

Executive Reports is in Preview and available to every Mondoo customer at no add-on cost. To turn it on for your organization, contact your customer success manager or open a support case.
