Analytics Brings Self-Serve Reporting to the Console
Analytics brings self-serve reporting to the console
When a stakeholder asks "how many critical vulnerabilities did we close last quarter?" or "which packages carry the most risk?", the answer shouldn't require a data export and an afternoon in a spreadsheet. Analytics puts those answers in the console, rendered live from your security data.
Open Reporting > Analytics to find seven built-in reports:
- Security Overview. Vulnerability scores, SLA compliance, MTTR, package impact, and compliance posture across all spaces.
- Vulnerability Overview. CVE severity breakdown, affected assets, top vulnerabilities, and CVSS score analysis across your fleet.
- Asset Inventory & Risk. Platform inventory, version distribution for EOL tracking, and a risk-ranked asset list.
- Security Posture. Check pass/fail rates, compliance scores, failing checks, and package vulnerability breakdown.
- Compliance Controls. Framework compliance tracking with control-level scores, scope breakdown, and lowest-scoring controls.
- Package Vulnerabilities. Vulnerable package analysis with severity breakdown, most affected packages, and patch prioritization.
- EPSS Risk Prioritization. Exploit prediction scoring to prioritize the vulnerabilities most likely to be exploited in the wild.
Every report is a deck of pages you can read in place or present as full-screen slides. Interactive pivot tables let you choose row groups, column groups, and metrics to reshape the data as you read.
Build your own reports
Built-in reports are a starting point, not a boundary. Duplicate any built-in report and edit your copy, or create a report from scratch: add pages with tile layouts, then fill each tile from the query builder by selecting measures from the schema browser, adding filters, and choosing a chart type. Version history tracks your changes.
Export
- Copy PNG. Copy any report page to your clipboard as an image for Slack, email, or a document.
- PPT. Download the whole report as a PowerPoint deck, one slide per page.
- Table export. Download any table's data with its Export button.
Availability
Analytics is generally available now to organizations with the Mondoo BI integration. If your organization doesn't have it yet, contact your customer success manager. If you used the hosted Mondoo BI service, Analytics is its successor in the console.
