Asset Intelligence - Overview

Asset Intelligence is the part of Mondoo that answers the question "What's running in my infrastructure?"

When you connect an integration (AWS, Kubernetes, GitHub, a server, and so on), Mondoo discovers the assets behind it and adds them to your inventory automatically. You don't tag, register, or upload anything by hand.

Once your inventory exists, you can:

• See every asset Mondoo knows about and drill into its configuration.
• Find vulnerable software installed across your assets.
• Search across a space or organization to find a specific asset, CVE, package, check, or advisory.
• Annotate assets with your own key-value metadata (owner, team, project, asset tag) and tell Mondoo how critical and exposed they are.

1. Inventory your assets: view the assets and vulnerable software Mondoo has discovered and turn on extra data collection.
2. Search your inventory: search across assets, CVEs, packages, checks, policies, and advisories.
3. Annotate assets: tag assets so you can group them and adjust their risk scores.
