Scan BMCs with cnspec
Scan server baseboard management controllers (BMCs) over IPMI and Redfish with cnspec, including HPE iLO, Dell iDRAC, and Supermicro.
A baseboard management controller (BMC) manages and monitors a server independently of its CPU, firmware (BIOS or UEFI), and operating system. Because a BMC runs out-of-band, cnspec can audit your hardware whether or not the server is powered on, and without installing anything on the host.
cnspec reaches BMCs through two management interfaces: the older Intelligent Platform Management Interface (IPMI) and the newer DMTF Redfish REST API that most modern server BMCs expose (including HPE iLO, Dell iDRAC, and Supermicro).

Redfish BMCs
Scan BMCs over the Redfish REST API, including HPE iLO, Dell iDRAC, and Supermicro.
IPMI
Query BMCs over the Intelligent Platform Management Interface.
